Pancake Saturdays

Every Saturday we make pancakes, and Olive is my trusty assistant. Today we decide to make cinnamon, triple lemon (lemon essential oil, lemon juice and lemon zest), blueberry, gluten and dairy free cakes, drenched in my dad's home-made Vermont maple syrup. Needless to say, Olive nearly finished her whole stack! :)

Winter Look Book, 1st edition

This winter season I was very much into English hunter green, dusty pinks, and silver shoes. Somehow I managed to get all of these colors on Olive in one day- don't ask me how! ;) Her hat is from the French designer, Bonpoint; Coat/Zara; Shirt/American Apparel; Pants/Les Petits Chapelais, and shoes/Zara

Tea and Spice and All Things Nice

I have never been a coffee drinker, but tea is MY thing. I start each day with the perfect cuppa loose leaf rooibos tea from my favorite tea shop, Sullivan Street Tea and Spice Company in the Village. It's like a candy shop for tea drinkers, and a great place to get gifts. Hint, Hint...;)
***FYI, they also sell 20 different kinds of hot sauce and the boyz behind the counter are all super cute. Random? I think not! ;)

Cousin Sisters

It's always such a treat when my niece comes to visit (these photos were taken about a month ago). She is exactly 6 months older than Olive, and at this age you can really tell! ;) We all hope that they will stay sisterly close forever.......

Here is a little flashback to our trip to Sweden (Stockholm), November 2011. It was COLD and GRAY, but we had a fantastic time visiting our Swedish family, and eating our way through Stockholm! ;)

On a more serious note, painting is something Olive enjoys doing everyday. With Fine Artists on both sides of our family (including my husband) we are not surprised and encourage it (most of the time;)!
