Olive's Waldorf-inspired preschool, Little Birch, had it's annual May Day Frstival yesterday. Olive has been diligently singing the songs and working on her May Day Crown for a month or so now. Despite the strong winds and impending rain, the celebration was so sweet and Olive was proud to show off her school to her Gogo (my father) and her Mimi (her Great Grandmother).
After the dancing and singing around the Maypole we all spread out our blankets and had a picnic lunch. :)
