Mother's Day in Vermont

















We had a lovely weekend filled with food, sunshine, gardening, and, of course, Mothers of all sorts!

This years' Mother's Day Brunch included: 

*Rhubarb Belinis
*Asparagus Feta Tarts with Black Truffle Salt and a Polenta Crust
*Spring Pea Salad with Fresh Herbs 
*"Pickled" Shrimp with Meyer Lemon, Crust Garlic, Dill, Thyme and Rock Salt 
*Rosemary Country Bread with Ramp Butter
*Rhubard Maple Custard Cups with heaps of fresh whipped cream
*Hibiscus Herbal Tea and Vermont Coffee Company

Needless to say I had a green juice for dinner and took a loooong walk! ;-)

    Happy belated mothers day! It looks like you ladies had a wonderful time, what a lovely company you had. I would love to see recipes for any of the yummy food you prepared.
